Aeternum, the latest offering in the New World franchise, is set to unveil an open beta featuring crossplay in mid-September. My hands-on experience with the game during the Summer Game Fest in June revealed a refreshing twist on traditional MMORPG dynamics, transforming it into a skillful action RPG. While some players have already explored its features through closed beta tests in recent weeks, the upcoming month will welcome a broader audience to dive into the action as Amazon Games prepares for an open beta.

This open beta is scheduled from September 13 to 16 and will be accessible on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S across regions including Europe, North and South America, and APAC. The game will fully support crossplay, allowing players on different platforms to engage with one another seamlessly.
