100 Thieves Extends Coach Zikz's Contract Through 2027, Committing to Future Success in Valorant

In a significant move for its competitive lineup, 100 Thieves has decided to secure its Valorant head coach for the foreseeable future. The American esports organization has extended the contract of Anthony Gray, also known as Zikz, ensuring his leadership until the 2027 season.

Regarding this extension, Joseph Jang, the vice president of esports for 100 Thieves, expressed his enthusiasm, recognizing the rarity of such talent within the esports community. He emphasized the unique blend of dedication, determination, and passion that Zikz brings to his role, believing firmly that he is the perfect choice to guide the franchise's future.

Jang conveyed excitement about the partnership and the potential for more championship victories under the 100 Thieves name. While Zikz is relatively new to the Valorant coaching scene, he possesses a wealth of experience in esports overall. His previous achievements include a successful stint as a League of Legends coach, during which he contributed to Evil Geniuses' ascent to world champions in 2023.

Zikz reflected on his first year with the organization, describing it as a rewarding learning process. He noted the importance of nurturing projects long-term, emphasizing that 100 Thieves aligns perfectly with his vision for sustained growth. He feels optimistic about building upon the cultural and strategic foundations established so far, considering future insights.

Looking ahead, 100 Thieves is anticipated to focus on securing its core roster or making adjustments as needed to maintain its competitive edge.
