YouTube Music Adding Live Lyrics to Casting Interface

YouTube Music is continuously trying out new features in an effort to gain parity with its competitors. Recently, the app has begun testing a feature that brings live lyrics to the app's casting interface. This would allow users who are casting their music playback to compatible displays to also view scrolling lyrics for songs that have them available.

When casting music playback from YouTube Music, users involved with the test will see album art and track details joined by a new, scrolling lyrics display on their compatible displays. The current line being sung is highlighted as it scrolls along with the song's progression. It appears this feature is optimized for larger screens, only showing a few lines of lyrics at any given time.

Additionally, when playing songs with available lyrics, they'll appear just after the song begins and slide onto the screen alongside the album art positioned at its center before moving offscreen again. The names of any songwriters are credited toward end of each performance as well.

Hopefully, more Android users will get access to this useful addition soon, too - we'd love for everyone using YouTube Music be able to take advantage of this neat trick when enjoying their favorite tunes!

All in all, having live lyrics show up when you're casting your audio can be quite helpful and makes it much easier keep up with what's being said in each track - whether you know them already or not! We hope YouTube Music continues adding features like these so it can better compete against other streaming services out there today!
