Uncover the Secrets of a Radioactive England in Atomfall, Rebellion's Upcoming Adventure
Mar-19-2025

Excitement is mounting for the forthcoming launch of a highly engaging title, Atomfall, developed by Rebellion, known for its Sniper Elite series. Set in an alternate 1960s England, this game unfolds five years after the Windscale nuclear incident of 1957, which has transformed large areas of northern England into a radioactive quarantine zone. Players are tasked with uncovering the mysteries of this world while navigating survival challenges and engaging with various characters.
The gameplay is rich with danger as players encounter mutated creatures, cult groups, and rogue military operatives, making the journey to escape quite challenging. According to the art director, Ryan Greene, the expected length of the game is around 25 hours. For those eager to explore every facet, there is substantially more content to discover.
Additionally, the game features multiple endings. This design allows players to make significant choices, including the fate of key characters in the storyline. Greene noted that while some outcomes may close off certain paths if important allies are removed, there will be other routes available to complete the adventure and reach alternative conclusions.
Scheduled for launch on March 27th, Atomfall will be accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X consoles. Notably, it will also be part of the Game Pass on its release day, allowing more players to dive into this unique experience.
