On the PlayStation front, the engagement is equally noteworthy. Despite initial backlash against the game, which was not accessible through PS Plus, a substantial percentage of PlayStation 5 users chose to purchase and play Black Ops 6. On October 23, around 18% of active PS5 players accessed Call of Duty HQ, with that number climbing to 34% by October 28, signifying a remarkable engagement rate even in light of earlier critiques.
This trend suggests that despite the negative comments, PlayStation users are willing to invest in the game, ultimately showing that the allure of the franchise remains potent.
